At a recent date the editor had an occasion to visit John Horders and while In Ills place of business lie showed us througli his new garage, whicii Is now nearing completion.
The new structure will be known as the Midland Trail Garage, is two sto¬ ries In height and made of Albion vltrllied brick. Dimensions, tiOxl2(i feet, which covers a floor space of 72(iO feet on each floor, with a plate glass front.
The east side of the tirst floor will contain different departments, as fol¬ lows: Oflice room In southwest cor¬ ner; accessories; wralting and rest ruom: storage room: vulcani/.Ing rtKim,
Work shop will occupy the entire nortli end of the building on tiie lirst floor wiiere an expert auto doctor will tie employed to administer to the wants of your crippled machine.
The west side of tiie big room will be used for storage purposes, ete.
An electric liglited pit near the nortii end and center of the room will be usetl for the cars to pass over and the machinist to work from under¬ neath,
A public toilet room will also be on tiie tlrst floor.
The second story of the Midland Trail Garage will consist of about forty-two rooms and will be occupied by J. L. Bradley, an old experienced hotel man, wlio will conduct an up- to-date Kuropean liostelry.
On the second Moor tliere will Ijc labratories and hot and cold running water in all outside rot ins. and three batli rooms.
The building will be steam heated throughout and .sealed with metal, thus making tlie structure almost li reproof.
There will bc Mower gardens on both sidesof the driveway in Iront oftlie garage whicli will enhance llie beau¬ ty of the place.
Gasoline and lubricating oil vvill be found on the outside In front of the building and Joiin informs us that there will be an abundance of water whlcli will be as free as the ijir you breathe and Invites everyliody to come come and partake.
At last but not least we wish to state in conclusion to the above that when linishetl Mr. Horders will have one of the most complete anti up-to- date garages in Southern Illinois, lie¬ ing entirely modern tliroughout.

H, McClean, are Inclined to consider sus¬ picious In view of the fact tliat the engineer had made many active ene¬ mies during the course of his Hve years' residence at Chihuahua," La¬ ter Information seems to indicate that Kenner was tlie victim of vio¬ lence. Two Mexicans came to Nevada City the day befere his deatii whose suspicious actions lias given ri.se to the tlieory that Kenner was murder¬ ed and his btxly tlirown Into the lake. It seems that he had Incurred the en¬ mity of those Mexicans who have been attacking Americans whilelioltl- ing the position as civil engineer for the Klo I'luta mine in Chihuahua, which vvas sel/ed by Mexican out- iaws some six months ago, when lie antl Ills brother were compelled to Mee for their lives. He had also In¬ curred the ill will of many Mexicans by writing a pamphlet demanding American intervention In Mexico.
Mr. Kenner was a son of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Kenner formerly of Flora. He was a young man who stootl lilgli ill lil.'i profession. His untimely deatii vvill lie deeply deplored by the many friends of his parents In Flora and those who knew "Bob" as a bright little boy in Flora where lie was born.

Word was received in Flora Wed¬ nesday that J. M. Amrine had died at the Olney Sanitarium at H o'clock the same morning.
