Tliat Flora Is rapidly forging to the front Is plain to be seen, and there is no mistake that she will be the live¬ liest burg in Southern illlndls for the next year to come, and everything looks good in the Clay county metrop¬ olis ill the way of a biiilding Ixxiui.
The Sexton Manufacturing Co. having been located here means a big tiling for our city. Work on the building has already coniineiiced with a large force of men and teams, ex¬ cavating and getting everything in .sliape for the construcUon and an early completion of the structure, wliich will lie of concrete, steel and glass. Several sites were suggested for the lactorv. However, none of them ap pealed to Mr. Fergu.soii. (owner of the Sexlon enterprises.) as (lid the EIrod property, whicli was purcliased for this Institution. Tlie site is located on the lots southeast of tl.e Carnegie lilirarv. and Is an ideal place for a factory of this kind.
