At the Sunday School hour several new scholars were welcomed into the school, and all seemed eager to study the great Kaster lesson. At the hour of wturshlp the pastor preached on the subject: "The message of the empty tomb,"
Owing to the illness of the Choir Director, Miss Mary Ellis, there was no special music tlio' the music was in keeping with the day.
At tbe evening iiour the subject was Paul's statement of the Resur¬ rection.
At the clo.se of the service Hie ordi¬ nance of baptism was administered to two candidates, Guy Keith and Charlie Ross. Hoth the .lunlor and Senior People^' Societies had Inter¬ esting programs,

Our cias,ses are fast learning the meaning of responsibility and special occasions. Thus: the joy of service is not lost.
The Easter Services were well at¬ tended at the I'resbyterian church. Special music by the Choir and ser¬ mon by the I'astor. At the morning service Haptlsm and Hie Sacrament of the Lord's Supper were administered.
Thirteen were received Into mem¬ bership inaking a total of thirty-six received into the churcii since last Easter Sunday,

Easter was a great day. The pet> pie took advantage of the' Ideal weather and went to church. The attendance and spirit of the S, S. were both tine. The morning congre¬ gation was the largest the pastor has ever preached to at a morning ser¬ vice. There were three baptisms and twelve accessions to the church. The entire evening service was taken up by the Cliolr with the Cantata, "Gethsemane to Calvary." All tl>« seating space In the commodious new church waa taken up and more ,than a hundred turned away. It was said to have l>een the largest congregation ever gathered for a churcii service In
Flora. Every solo was rendered most beautifully and the choruses were perfect. The ("inilr deserves great credit for their faithful work and Mr C. E. Ilemphill. director, and Miss Ruth Gulden, pianist, deserve special mentltm for their painstaking elTorts in preparing such a program. He was united In marriage to Mary E, Davis Nov, 10, \K>H. His loved companion passed away twenty-tive years ago. To this iinl'in nine chil¬ dren was born; four of whom survive their father, they are Mrs, II, A. Smith of Blast St, Louis: Charles and B'retl Graham of Flora and Mrs, A. B, I'inapp of Vincennes, Ind, Tiiese with seven grandi'liiidrcii nioiirn the loss of tiielr loved one.
