Friday's game was the most decisive victory for the Orange and Hlue this sea.son. Oiney came over on No. 7 with ex¬ pectations toget revenge but theirex- pectatlons lasted as long as a snow- ball*la.sls on the Fourth of .luly In a hot sun. .\ fair bunch of rooters accompanied the team to do a little cheering for the Orange and HIack but It amounted to a whisper before the game was over. Tlie high school gymnasium was tilled to overtiowing and a good many had to be tiiriiod away. These watehed the game, as much of It as they could, from the luilsldo on the east side of the gymnasium. Pat Hums playing rlglil forward for the Orange and Hlue eajjed the lirst iiasket during the lirst low seeomls ol play. Ike followed w lib a free throw, Hass Olney's cenier got their lirst, towards the middle of the tirst half. It was one of his horse shoe luck ones Imm center, .•\s to team work and passing we outclassed the visitors, for as far as we could see Olney didn't have much of eltlier, Tliey huddled close to¬ gellier like a Mock of sheep In a snow storm and we wonder if lliey missed Hie lost laiiili. When Pearee warned the crowd with a pistol sliot that the lirst lialf wasover, 17-3 in our favor, the Ol¬ ney goat (a real strong one) broke from his moorings, somewhere, and dasiied down the norlh steps into the bunch of Olney rooters praying for peaco and safety.
