Based on the facts and exhibits presented, the Property Tax
Appeal Board hereby finds no change in the assessment of the
property as established by the Cook County Board of Review is
warranted. The correct assessed valuation of the property is:

Subject only to the State multiplier as applicable.
Final administrative decisions of the Property Tax Appeal Board

The parties of record before the Property Tax Appeal Board are
Louise Petrovich, the appellant, and the Cook County Board of
Review.
The subject property consists of an 80-year-old, one-story,
single-family dwelling of frame construction containing 726
square feet of living area and located in Proviso Township, Cook
County. Features of the home include one full bathroom, a
partial-unfinished basement, air-conditioning and a two-car
detached garage.
The appellant submitted evidence before the Property Tax Appeal
Board arguing unequal treatment in the assessment process of the
improvement as the basis of the appeal. In support of this
claim, the appellant submitted assessment data and descriptive
information on three properties suggested as comparable to the
subject. The appellant also submitted a one-page letter,
photographs of the subject and the suggested comparables as well
as a copy of the board of review's decision. Based on the
appellant's documents, the three suggested comparables consist of
one-story, single-family dwellings of frame or frame and masonry
construction with the same neighborhood code as the subject. The
improvements range in size from 900 to 985 square feet of living
area and range in age from 51 to 80 years. The comparables
contain one or one and one-half bathrooms and a one-car, two-car
or three-car garage. One comparable has an unfinished basement
and one comparable contains air-conditioning. The improvement
assessments range from $13.23 to $18.55 per square foot of living
