Property Tax Appeal Board Meeting
Held on July 17, 2007
Des Plaines, Illinois
1. ROLL CALL: Sharon Thompson;Michael Goral;Walter Gorski

Ms. Thompson convened the meeting at 10:00 a.m.
2. Approval of the Board Minutes for the June Meeting:
Mr. Goral moved to approve the minutes of the June 19, 2007
board meeting, Ms. Thompson seconded the motion. The
motion carried unanimously.
3. Executive Director Report:
PTAB has not received a response from the Attorney
General's Office regarding the letter that was sent asking
for their opinion about a conflict of interest concern.
Ron will share the response when he receives it.
Ron would like temporary authority from today through Labor
Day to handle motion requests with the exception of
subpoenas. Mr. Gorski made the motion that Ron be granted
the authority to handle motions through Labor Day, Ms.
Thompson seconded the motion. Mr. Goral supported the
motion mentioning that in the future we may need to have an
August meeting. Ron advised that he would email the Board
members weekly with motions he receives and the action he
takes on them. The motion carried 3 to 0.
