Based on the facts and exhibits presented, the Property Tax
Appeal Board hereby finds no change in the assessment of the
property as established by the COOK County Board of Review is
warranted. The correct assessed valuation of the property is:

The parties of record before the Property Tax Appeal Board (PTAB)
are Lee Barnett, the appellant, by attorney Adam E. Bossov, P.C.
of Chicago and the Cook County Board of Review (board).
The subject property consists of a 113-year-old, two-story multi-family,
dwelling of frame construction containing 2,360 square
feet of living area and located in Lakeview Township, Cook
County. The residence contains two bathrooms and a full
basement.
The appellant's attorney appeared before the PTAB and submitted
evidence claiming unequal treatment in the assessment process as
the basis of the appeal. In support of this argument, the
appellant offered five suggested comparable properties located
within a quarter mile of the subject. These properties consist
of two or three-story multi-family dwellings of frame or masonry
construction and range in age from 95 to 121 years. The
comparables have two, three or four bathrooms and four with two-car
garages. No evidence of basements or air conditioning was
provided. The comparables contain between 2,378 and 3,918 square
feet of living area and have improvement assessments ranging from
$23,320 to $54,972 or from $9.81 to $14.24 per square foot of
living area. The appellant submitted a copy of a plat map
disclosing the subject is one of three buildings located on Lot
#30 and separated by three tax numbers. An aerial map disclosed
the subject has no set-back space on all four sides. Based on
this evidence, the appellant requested a reduction in the
subject's assessment.
The board submitted its "Board of Review Notes on Appeal" wherein
the subject's final improvement assessment of $37,025, or $15.69
per square foot of living area, was disclosed. In support of the
