Property Tax Appeal Board Meeting
Held on June 19,2007

1. ROLL CALL: Carlos Montoya, Chairman; Sharon Thompson;

Chairman Montoya convened the meeting at 10:15 a.m.
2. Approval of the Board Minutes for the June Meeting:
Ms. Thompson moved to approve the minutes of the May 8,2007
board meeting, Mr. Goral seconded the motion. The motion
carried unanimously.
3. Executive Director Report:
Our new electronic search engine will be available to the
public on July 2nd. Two sets of law firms, ten in all,
beta-tested the search engine giving us helpful suggestions
and positive feedback.
Steve Rulison demonstrated to the Board how to navigate
thru the search engine. He advised that appeals can be
accessed by docket number or PIN. Mr. Freeman made a
suggestion that the words "assessed value" be used on the
screen showing the Assessor, Board of Review and PTAB
amounts. He further suggested that a disclaimer be added so
the public knows that PTAB does not guarantee the
information obtained from the site.
