Comments have been:
I now can control my grade by entering
my Repair Data before going for a
retest. I can verify it by looking in my
Grade Details. I can also download
my Grade Details in Excel and put it
into my shop management program.
Great system!
My Service Advisor uses Vehicle Lookup every time a customer comes thru the door or
calls on the phone. This way we know the vehicle test date, test history, and failure/reject
reasons. This has helped us to create confidence with our customers and a repair strategy
to get the vehicle passed. It is fantastic to get the real story and accurate information.
I posted a message on the Repair Forum and got several responses which resulted in
fixing the vehicle. It is nice to have a resource to get help when a tough fix arises. I hope
to see more postings so I can respond and reciprocate the help I received.
I like the idea of registering for the Outreach Seminars at my leisure. The email
reminder notice is helpful. The postcards reminder notices are nice but I have a tendency
to loose them. Thanks for helping keep our skills sharp.
The News & Information message board on the home page is something I look at
everyday. I have been wondering if monitor rejects are counting on my Grade Details
and I know where to look now for the latest up-to-date information.
The CyberDriveIllinois.com site in the Helpful Links has assisted me with customers
who had questions concerning the status of their vehicle registration. The state website,
IllinoisAirTeam.com has also been a great resource to find the Report Card, past
issues of Air Repair and Air Review articles. These websites are very user friendly and
helpful. Thanks!

Shop Owners: A unique shop ID# was mailed to you this past spring. If you “misplaced” it,
send an email to epa.repair.outreach@illinois.gov requesting it be sent again. Always
feel free to call Outreach at 847-758-3434. Please include your shop name, address,
and phone number along with your name and title. Give your technicians and service
advisors time to sign up.
All other Industry Professionals: A unique ID# is not required because you will not be
entering repair data online. Just follow the sign up screens.
Once you have completed the simple sign up page, an email will be sent with your User
Name & Password.
