              TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
AUCTION DATES, TIMES & LOCATION
• The auction shall be conducted on Saturday, August 16, 2003 at the Illinois State
Fairgrounds, Director’s Lawn, Springfield, Illinois.
CONDITION & DESCRIPTION
• The condition of the items being offered varies greatly. The buyer understands and
agrees that the items are sold and accepted by buyer on an “AS IS, WHERE IS” basis
with all faults. Any description of items offered by the Office of the Illinois State
Treasurer (“Treasurer”) or its agents is for general informational purposes only, and
the items may or may not be exactly as described. The Treasurer offers no warranty
or guarantee of condition or authenticity of any item.
INSPECTION & VIEWING
• Bidders are urged to inspect items prior to bidding. Note: Per standards developed by
the Treasurer’s auditor, items will be available for viewing and inspection in their
cases only. Items will not be removed from their cases. Failure to inspect shall not
constitute cause for cancellation of sale. Selected items will be available for
inspection at the Treasurer’s Road Show locations (See www.cashdash.net for
details.)
Additional Selected items will be available for inspection at the Treasurer’s Tent at
the Illinois State Fairgrounds on the following dates and times:
8/8/03 to 8/15/03 9a.m. to 6p.m.
All of the items will be available for inspection at the auction site on August 16, 2003
from 8a.m. to 12p.m..
Once the auction begins, inspections shall not be allowed.
REGISTRATION
• Persons wishing to bid on items at the auction are required to obtain, complete, and
submit a bidder registration card (presented with a driver’s license/state ID card for
verification) at the auction venue prior to the sale. Upon submission and approval of
a bidder registration card, each bidder will obtain a bidder number to complete
registration.
• Those bidding on the selected Road Show items via the Treasurer’s website must fill
out the online registration form and complete all required fields. By bidding via the
website, the bidder acknowledges that he/she has read these Terms and Conditions of
Sale and agrees to all such Terms and Conditions of Sale.
