The parties of record before the Property Tax Appeal Board are
Mike Panagirakis, the appellant, by attorney George Reveliotis
of the Law Office of George N. Reveliotis, in Chicago, and the
Cook County Board of Review.
The subject property is improved with a one-story, masonry
constructed commercial building containing 16,290 square feet of
building area. The building was constructed in 1947 with an
addition in 1955 and is located on an 18,012 square foot site
located in Chicago, Jefferson Township, Cook County.
The appellant contends the market value of the subject property
is not accurately reflected in its assessed valuation. In
support of this overvaluation argument the appellant submitted
an appraisal estimating the subject property had a market value
of $375,000 as of January 1, 2005. The appellant submitted the
final decision issued by the Cook County Board of Review
