IBHE Senior Staff
Members of the Illinois CAS Project team met with a number of the Illinois Board of
Higher Education senior staff members February 20, 2006. IBHE staff participants
included: Judy Erwin, Executive Director; Gary Alexander, Deputy Director; Mike
Baumgartner, Deputy Director; Terry Nunn, Deputy Director; Christy England-Siegerdt,
Assistant Director; Rick Pearce, Assistant Director; and Jennifer Cox, Executive Support
Staff.
IBHE staff saw a demonstration of various CAS functions, including Academic
Programs, Course Equivalency Guides, Planning Guides, and Request Import. We
discussed the resources necessary for institutions to participate in the Project, both as
CAS Sending and CAS Receiving institutions. We also discussed the ongoing need for
statewide coordination of this complex cross-sector effort to provide information to
Illinois students.
