The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) values diversity on its’
construction projects. IDOT’s Office of Business and Workforce Diversity
(OBWD) Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Resource Centers
provides minority and women-owned businesses with the following:
• Assistance with State of Illinois DBE certification
• Workshops on contracting opportunities
• Access to bidding information
• On-site computer lab
• Available staff to assist you
