1. ROLL CALL: Donald Crist, Chairman; Michael Goral; Kevin Freeman; Walter
Gorski; Mauro Glorioso
STAFF: Louis Apostol, Executive Director

Chairman Crist convened the meeting at 10:02 a.m.
2. Approval of the Board Minutes for the October 13, 2009 Meeting:
Mr. Glorioso moved to accept October minutes as amended. Mr. Gorski seconded the
motion and it carried unanimously.
3. Executive Director Report:
Mr. Apostol informed the Board of the transfer of the Property Tax Appeal Board to the
Personal Property Tax Replacement Fund and provided members with a copy of Public
Act 096-0045.
Mr. Apostol apprised the Board of the current Furlough Program requirements. Non-union
staff are required to take 12 furlough days. AFSCME designated staff are required
to take 5 furlough days.
Mr. Apostol informed the Board that one 75 day employee is in the Springfield Office
assisting hearing officers with drafting decisions and temporary staff members are
docketing and processing evidence for the agency.
Mr. Apostol apprised the Board of the recruitment of new staff. PTAB has two open
positions (1) clerical, (1) hearing officer, that are in the final approval stage.
