The parties of record before the Property Tax Appeal Board are Walgreens, the appellant, by attorney Edward Burke with the law firm of Klafter and Burke in Chicago; the Cook County Board of Review by Cook County Assistant State's Attorney Joel Buikema; and the Chicago Board of Education, the intervenor, by attorney Cynthia Harris with the Chicago Board of Education.
Prior to the hearing the parties reached an agreement as to the correct assessment of the subject property. This assessment agreement was presented to and considered by the Property Tax Appeal Board.
