a. Houghton Mifflin Company: #06-02005-I-3 (Kane)
Kane County was notified of the above filing on 8-15-
07. A total of 90 days has been granted with the last
extension expiring on 3-21-08. The county is
requesting an additional 60 days to enable the
appraiser that they have retained to inspect the
subject property and prepare an accurate appraisal.
b. Countryside Healthcare Center: #06-01980-C-3 (Kane)
Kane County was notified of the above filing on 11-7-
07. A total of 90 days has been granted with the last
extension expiring on 3-7-08. The county is
requesting an unspecified extension of time to confer
with the City of Aurora who has intervened and
possibly negotiate with the taxpayer for 2005 and
2006.
